Mirakash vs Bland AI
A voice-agent platform positioned around high-volume outbound and inbound phone calls with an emphasis on self-hosted infrastructure and scale.
Below is what Bland AI is good at, said without sandbagging, and where we differ — in terms you can check on a call with either of us.
Built for volume, and honest about being an outbound-calling platform rather than a general chatbot.
Infrastructure-level control, which matters at scale.
Straightforward pricing model.
What we can do that is hard to answer
Indian languages on real phone calls
Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil among others, for both speech recognition and speech synthesis, on the public telephone network — not an English model with an accent setting, and not text-only. This is the difference that decides most deals we win: a platform built for English-speaking markets can be excellent and still be unusable for a call centre in Kerala.
Per-second billing, and voicemail detected
Calls bill on connected seconds rather than rounded-up minutes, and an answering machine is detected so a voicemail is neither billed nor talked to as though it were a person. On an outbound campaign where a third of dials reach voicemail, the difference between those two billing models is most of the bill.
Agents that improve from their own calls
Every call is transcribed and scored against a QA scorecard, and what worked is mined into a library the other agents draw on. QA is usually a separate product bolted on afterwards; here the loop closes without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.
The whole customer conversation, not only the dial
Outbound calling is one channel. The same agent in Mirakash answers on web chat, WhatsApp, SMS and email from one configuration, and the conversation is one record across all of them — so a lead who was called on Tuesday and replies on WhatsApp on Thursday is one thread, not two.
When you should pick Bland AI instead
You are running English-language outbound at high volume, you want the lowest-level control over the calling infrastructure, and you do not need the surrounding operations tooling.
We would rather tell you that now than three weeks into an evaluation. If that describes you, they are a good choice and we will say so on the call.
Everything on this page about Bland AI is drawn from their own public positioning and reviewed on 2026-08-15. Products move, and this one may be out of date before we notice — if we have got something wrong about Bland AI, tell us at mirakash.com/contact and we will correct it. We are not interested in winning an argument with a page nobody can reply to.
